We want to create a forum for language industry representatives from the Nordic and Baltic countries to find a platform for exchanging ideas and knowledge in an engaging and including environment. We aim to have a regional focus on our themes and speakers as well as our forum venues.
The idea with the Nordic Translation Industry Forum is to gather language services companies from the region interested in topics on industry trends and regional related matters, and in addition to that, technology.
The countries of the region have languages which are not spoken by many and expensive languages to translate – and it’s in all our interests to preserve the local language need and avoid turning into an English speaking target region only. We believe that by meeting and sharing experiences we can work together to strengthen the industry.
